Welcome to Berlin! Upon arrival in Berlin, make your way to our hotel. Get checked in, meet your fellow Hashers, and begin to explore the city. This bold capital wears its grittiness for all to see - edgy street art adorns the city's ever-evolving façades and street food markets reveal a cosmopolitan line-up of cultures and cuisines that make Berlin an exhilaratingly diverse city to explore. You’ll have a fun night of hearty food, wine, beer and music before we drive through the city to see the landmarks of this impressive German Capital.

This morning, uncover secrets of Berlin’s past with your Local Specialist on a guided tour of the city. View the Reichstag Building, the German State Opera House, the Brandenburg Gate and the Holocaust Memorial. Touch a remaining section of the Berlin Wall, see the site of Checkpoint Charlie, and learn about Berlin’s WWII and Cold War past. Then ascend the TV tower for a magnificent view of the city. Possible Hash trail with Berlin H3, subject to confirmation. This evening you may choose to join an optional dinner where you admire the architecture of this vibrant city on a scenic drive to the rural outskirts, used as the Royal Hunting grounds in centuries past. Now an exclusive residential district, you’ll dine in a charming chalet-style restaurant and enjoy an atmospheric dinner of German specialties.

Close the curtain on your spirited encounter with Berlin and head east into Poland to Poznań, the effervescent historical capital of Poland and birthplace of the Polish nation. View its colorful market square and town hall where a curious battle between two iron goats to mark noon has taken center stage above its clock for over five centuries. Enjoy a tour of the Croissant Museum, where you will learn the secrets of Saint Martin croissants, the pride of Poznan. Of course, we will get to taste them too! Then you have free time to visit the Malta Ski for activities on your own. Enjoy dinner tonight at a local restaurant.

Head to Poland's modern metropolis of Warsaw which has risen with all the invigorating spirit of a phoenix after a recent tragic past. Upon arrival delve into Warsaw's turbulent past with a Local Specialist. Your sightseeing tour across this 21st-century capital will reveal how the resilient Poles rebuilt their city which was on its knees after the war. You'll view St. John's Cathedral and the Royal Palace in the Old Town, then see the site of the Warsaw Ghetto. Tonight, to stimulate your senses, we'll sample local and national delicacies before a scenic drive enjoying the lights of Warsaw. Warsaw is one of Europe's least-known, but most spectacular and fascinating cities.

Today, we will journey to the little-known district of Praga, voted among the 10 coolest neighborhoods in Europe by the Independent, where we'll take a guided tour of Poland's first Vodka Museum. Experience a tantalizing journey through the history of one of the world's foremost famous and noted tipples. The rest of the day is on your own to explore. Possible hash trail with Warsaw H3 tonight, subject to confirmation.

Poland's pilgrimage city of Czestochowa features first on your journey south to Kraków. You'll view the Paulite Monastery at Jasna Góra, with its shrine to the Virgin Mary and home to the famous Black Madonna of Czestochowa. Then stop at the former concentration camp at Auschwitz for a poignant reminder of the horrors perpetrated during the Holocaust. Arrive in Kraków later, Poland's cultural and intellectual heart. It is in its Rynek Główny market square that much of the magic happens. Every hour, on the hour, you'll hear the sound of the medieval St. Mary's Trumpet Call, cut short to honor the death of the trumpeter who saved Kraków from a Tatar invasion centuries ago. Tonight enjoy the typical Polka music and traditional dance of Poland's rich culture, while savoring a delicious meal of Polish specialties and beverages at our specially-selected venue.

Enjoy an orientation tour of Krakow on your way to Oskar Schindler’s Factory. On our guided tour, we will learn about the history of Krakow during World War II and the man who is credited with saving over 1200 Jewish lives by employing them in his factories. Next, we'll stop at Wawel Castle in whose dungeons dragon once roamed, for a photo opportunity. Then, we’ll visit the amazing Wieliczka Salt Mines, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site just outside Krakow. We’ll marvel at the unique sculptures and underground chambers of this 800-year old salt mine. See chambers, chapels and even salt chandeliers as we follow our guide 440 ft underground.

Today we head to the Macocha Abyss for a guided tour and boat ride through the stunning Punkva Caves. This is the best known subterranean area of the Moravian Karst, and you’ll get to travel along an underground river. Then enjoy a ride on the cable car to the observation area to admire the deepest sinkhole in Central Europe from above. *Boat trip and cable car ride are subject to tour company liability compliancy, so are subject to confirmation once we have a response from them.Then continue on to Brno, the second largest city in the Czech Republic. Possible Hash trail with Brno H3, subject to confirmation.

We’re off to the city of Valtice to go to the National Wine Salon of the Czech Republic, home of their 100 best wines. We will enjoy a guided tasting of 10 wine samples by one of their sommeliers. Then, we head to the picturesque town if Cesky Krumlov. Some of the group will enjoy a guided Malecek rafting trip while others enjoy a canoe trip on the Vltava River which ends at the local Krumlov brewery. *Boat trip is subject to tour company liability compliancy, so is subject to confirmation once we have a response from them. Grab a pint or two if you’d like, then enjoy your time exploring this charming, medieval town. This evening we will enjoy a Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant.

First thing today head to Pilsen for a tour and beer tasting at the Pilzner Urquell brewery! Continue on to Prague and enjoy an orientation drive of the city before being dropped off at the end of your trip!

If you prefer to have a hotel room to yourself, you can pay a single room supplement of US$315 for the trip (subject to availability).
To guarantee your spot, please fill out the registration form and pay a US$200 per person deposit.
Your deposit is fully refundable until February 1st, 2021. After that time your deposit is non-refundable but fully transferable until March 1st, 2021. After that time your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Final payment is due by May 15th, 2021.
